Two different blocks make up the 2024 Bremley Pinot Noir. The first being our ‘Home Block’ which was planted in 2000 before we took ownership. We are not entirely sure of clonal makeup but indicators point towards 114/115. This was hand picked on the 21st of March and makes 30% of the blend. The remainder came into the winery on April 11th, this being from our ‘Tree Block’ MV6. The fruit was gently de-stemmed and underwent whole berry ferment with gentle daily pump overs. It spent 20 days on skins before being transferred to large format François Frères puncheons (25% new) for 10 months.
