The 2023 Sinapius Close Planted Chardonnay is a 13% ABV white wine from Tasmania's Pipers River region, made from handpicked grapes grown in high-density vineyards. It features complex aromas of white peach, nectarine, lemon, and notes of cream, nuts, and minerality, with a long finish. The wine is wild-fermented and matured for 12 months in a mix of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
