The palate is complex and well balanced with an elegant tannin structure and flavours of black cherry and raspberry and a long savoury finish. Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape variety, but the names often indicate different wine styles due to regional climate and winemaking practices. Syrah is the original French name, typically used for elegant, savory wines from cooler climates, while Shiraz is the name adopted in Australia for bolder, riper, fruit-forward wines from warmer regions.
